La Cocina operates two fully licensed commercial kitchens in San Francisco, available to rent by licensed food businesses and nonprofits.

Priority for hourly kitchen rental is given to businesses in our incubator program. Afternoons, evenings, and weekends tend to have more availability for commercial renters.
We accept rental requests on a rolling basis. Please contact the kitchen manager for your preferred location to discuss current availability.
Please note: We cannot accommodate early arrivals or late departures due to staffing and safety requirements.

General guidance for Folsom:
Kitchen rental starts at $30/hour
Storage shelves start at $90/month
Minimum rental commitment: 10 hours per month
Monthly subscription with hourly price breaks and included storage for flexibility based on your production needs

Before you can begin renting, you'll need to provide:
Business Registration
Seller's Permit
ServSafe Manager's Certification
Liability Insurance with Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming La Cocina and our landlord (reach out to desired kitchen for further information)
Signed Facility Use Agreement & Kitchen Rules
Permit to Operate from San Francisco Department of Public Health
$500 security deposit

Our kitchens cannot accommodate the following:
Cannabis product production
Dairy production (facilities not in compliance with state dairy regulations)
USDA-regulated production of CPG products containing animal protein
Pets on the premises
Personal/individual rentals (business or nonprofit status required for liability reasons)
Parking: We do not offer on-site parking at either location.
Cancellation Policy: Bookings cancelled at least 24 hours in advance receive a full refund. Cancellations made after that time are charged 5% of the booking fee, processed within 24 hours.

Our Hyde Street facility is a 7,000 sq-ft licensed commercial kitchen offering:
Nine prep stations with individualized kiosk spaces
Refrigeration and dry storage
Versatile equipment for a range of production needs
Industrial-sized pots, pans, cutting boards, and other essential items
Wifi and shared workspace
Loading zone access
On-site staff to keep the facility clean and well-maintained
Full compliance with state and San Francisco County health codes

Our Folsom Street facility is a 2,200 sq.-ft. licensed commercial kitchen, a light-filled shared space that can accommodate up to 8 businesses at a time. It offers:
