La Cocina is teaming up with Donaji, a beloved Oaxacan restaurant in San Francisco’s Mission District, to bring you a rotating dinner series every Wednesday from September 16 through February 2026.
Each week, a different La Cocina business will take over the kitchen, offering their own bold flavors and culinary traditions alongside Donaji’s vibrant space. Featured chefs and businesses include:
Mi Comedor – Mexican and Latin American flavors
Mixiote – Featuring Mixiote, a traditional Mexican dish where protein is marinated in guajillo sauce and steamed with avocado and banana leaves
Peaches Patties – Jamaican specialties
Suyos Catering – Peruvian cuisine
The Uncreamery – San Francisco’s first vegan dairy
Xula – Authentic Guatemalan fare
This unique collaboration is made possible thanks to Chef Isai Cuevas of Donaji, who is opening his restaurant doors to spotlight La Cocina’s talented entrepreneurs.
